QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY, ACCOMMODATION, LANDLORDS ,BEWARE


The Residential Services at QMUL were caught out when they tried to prevent a Phd Student of QM from visiting a private landlord of his choice. The student reported it to the landlord who promptly complained to the Residences team of QMUL, The Residential Services team denied outright any wrongdoing even before a formal investigation was carried out. They insisted that the PHD student produce someone to corroborate his evidence although this student did not have any motive to say lies. No disciplinary action was taken against the staff concerned. It seems that QMUL promote those landlords who have many houses and many rooms as opposed to landlords with individual rooms.

AMAZON.CO.UK and DPD.CO.UK , SCANDAL,

Amazon Logistics and DPD have both let me down badly when they delived the TV stand I ordered. On each of the days 9th , 10th,11th,12th,13th and 14th September AMAZON.CO.UK sent an email saying that the AMAZON package would be delivered on that day. For six days in succession I was let down by Amazon logistics and DPD who couldn't find my flat although I had requested Amazon to have the driver phone me to help him locate my flat. Each time the AMAZON (and DPD)driver said i was not at home , although I was. In one case on the 12th Sep the DPD driver said that he had actually left a calling card through my door. The video shows how ludicrous this DPD driver's excuse was because he would never have had access through the main entrance without me giving him access from my flat through the intercom system. Finally on the 13th Sep ,I decided enough was enough and traced the trajectory of the DPD driver though DPD's tracking system . When I saw that the dpd driver had spent 20 min in Stepney Way(300 yards from my flat) I rushed down looking for his van. I finally found the DPD driver and confronted him and prevented him from driving away as the other AMAZON and DPD drivers had done in the preceding five days. I only got my package because I had to take the initiative and chase the DPD driver through the streets of London instead of the DPD delivering it to me!!!

Amazon.co.uk have refunded the full cost of the package which was the only decent course of action . AMAZON.CO.UK have however denied me the right to publish my critical review of the purchase in the Amazon.co.uk website in which I clearly stated that there was no problem with Amazon.co.uk's product itself but with the Amazon Logistics and DPD delivery which was extremely bad.
DPD are meant to be investigating but have thus far not contacted me directly nor apologized to me directly.
This is really a scandal for both AMAZON.CO.UK and DPD.CO.UK

QMUL STUDENT PAD ,PRIVATE LETTINGS FARCE

QMUL  PRIVATE LETTINGS -Private Landlords have to pay every year to advertise in Queen Mary STUDENT PAD qmul.studentpad.co.uk/
The Queen Mary Residential Services ,PRIVATE LETTINGS are a law unto themselves. My lodger, a PHD student at Queen Mary first contacted the Student Pad website then went to QUEEN MARY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES in QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY-he was discouraged from viewing my flat when he mentioned my STUDENT PAD ad -she said I was a "troublesome" landlord although she had never met me. When I went to see the QUEEN MARY Residential services manageress ,she was unsympathetic.For her staff to slander a LANDLORD and discourage a QUEEN MARYstudent from visiting a potential landlord is inexcusable, after all the landlord is paying to advertise his ACCOMMODATION at QMUL RESIDENTIAL SERVICES STUDENT PAD.

QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION -Private Landlords have to pay every year to advertise in Queen Mary STUDENT PAD qmul.studentpad.co.uk/
Students who visit the Queen Mary Residential Services are at the mercy of the staff. My current lodger, a PHD student at Queen Mary got my contact details on the Student Pad website. He went to QUEEN MARY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES in QUEEN MARY CAMPUS and showed one member of the staff my name and address from STUDENT PAD -she tried to discourage him from visiting my flat and instead urged him to try other addresses, saying I was a "troublesome" landlord . This staff member of QUEEN MARY had never met me before and declined to give him any details as to why I was "troublesome" and instead smiled. When I went to see the QUEEN MARY PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION manageress to make a complaint she was unsympathetic and denied any possibility of wrongdoing. She looked at me in disbelief and skepticism . At no time did she apologize.To slander the LANDLORD and discourage a QUEEN MARYstudent from visiting a potential landlord is inexcusable, after all the landlord is paying for advertising his ACCOMMODATION at QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON STUDENT PAD.
